Acetaminophen Sustained‑Release 650 mg (Nanomifen)
Nanomifen is a generic acetaminophen sustained‑release tablet designed as an analgesic and antipyretic using gradual‑release technology. In this formulation, a portion of the active ingredient (acetaminophen) is released immediately for fast pain relief, while the remaining portion is released in a controlled manner over time — resulting in a longer‑lasting effect and reduced need for frequent dosing. This medication is used to relieve mild to moderate pain, including headache, toothache, muscle pain, back pain, joint pain, and to reduce fever. Maintaining a relatively stable drug level in the blood through the sustained‑release form can help provide longer and more consistent pain relief.
Acetaminophen reduces pain and lowers fever by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system. In the sustained‑release formulation, the drug is gradually released from the tablet, resulting in a longer‑lasting effect in the body.

Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water. Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet, as this may cause rapid release of the drug and reduce its sustained‑release effect. The medication may be taken with or without food.
Adults and Adolescents (over 12 years):
500 to 1000 mg every 4 to 6 hours as needed.
The maximum daily dose should not exceed 4000 mg (4 grams) within 24 hours.
Children (6 to 12 years):
250 to 500 mg every 4 to 6 hours as needed.
Maximum of 4 doses within 24 hours.
Children under 6 years:
The dosage should be determined based on the child’s age and weight, in consultation with a physician. It is preferable to use pediatric‑specific formulations.
